Help: Role templates
Your account and administration
For CPUC system administrators. A role template is a named bundle of module permissions, such as a CPUC reviewer, an evaluator, an implementer or a consultant. Organization administrators grant one on their organization's page, which gives the member each of its permissions at once; each grant records the template it came from, and every step is in the audit log.
A template holds module permissions only. An organization's administrator, PII access and the CPUC's own roles each need a decision of their own, so they are granted one by one.
How to
- Add template with a name, who it is for, the kinds of organization it is offered in and the permissions it grants.
- Open a template to change it, retire it or offer it again.
A tour of the page
On the page, the (?) beside the heading opens this help, and Take a tour of this page shows these steps one at a time beside the part of the page each describes. Some steps are only for parts that some people see, or that only some pages of this kind have.
