Back to the page User guide: Finding published data

A tour of the page

On the page, the (?) beside the heading opens this help, and Take a tour of this page shows these steps one at a time beside the part of the page each describes. Some steps are only for parts that some people see, or that only some pages of this kind have.

Take the tour on the page
  1. The dashboard's pages

Each page looks at the same published data another way. Your years and filters go with you from page to page.

  2. What to show

The series, the filing a forecast comes from, the years, the metric and how to break the rows down. Choose, then Apply. Select Filters and view to fold these away; the page remembers it, as it does for each chart and table.

  3. Filters

Narrow to PAs (or every PA of a type), sectors, programs or measures. The count says how many are applied.

  4. The totals

The totals of the rows below for each series, and the share of the forecast claimed so far.

  5. The chart

The same numbers as the table under it. Point at a row, or Tab to the chart and use the arrow keys, to see its values. The table is the full record; the chart is for the shape.

  6. The rows

One row per group. Select a name to drill down, and use the column headings to sort. Zero and blank differ; blank means nothing is filed.

  7. Download these rows

Exactly the rows you see, as CSV, Excel or Parquet, each file saying which release and filters it came from. With forecast and claimed both shown, one file holds both, with a Series column.

  8. The records behind them

The measure-level records these rows add up, with the same filters. A large set is made in the background and you are told when it is ready.

  9. Saved views

Views of this page you can open, yours, shared with you or published. Signed in, save this page's choices under a name to open it again on the data published then, or to share it.

  10. Help on every page

The question mark beside a page's heading opens this page's guide and its tour. All of Help, with the user guides and how to get support, is in the header.
