Help: A value list draft
Data dictionary
The next version of a list, copied from the newest version (or the engine's list for the first). Add codes, change a code's description, retire a code by giving the last claim year it is accepted, or reinstate it by clearing that year. A code from an earlier version is never deleted; a draft may take out only a code it added itself.
Add or change many codes at once from a CSV with a code column and any of description, start_year and end_year; codes the file leaves out stay as they are. Publish with the date the version takes effect and why the list changes. Every change is recorded in the audit trail.
How to
- Add a code, or read a file into the draft.
- Select Change beside a code to retire, reinstate or describe it.
- Publish the version with its date and reason, or discard the draft.

On the page, the (?) beside the heading opens this help, and Take a tour of this page shows these steps one at a time beside the part of the page each describes. Some steps are only for parts that some people see, or that only some pages of this kind have.
