Help: An impact profile
Impact profiles
One impact profile, its current version's 8,760 by climate zone (each zone's total, largest hour and share of the year), every earlier version, and the profile IDs that point at it. Versions are never changed; a run or claim keeps the version it was priced with.
A custom profile's owner can replace it with a new version or retire it. A retired profile's versions are kept for the runs and claims that named them; the next library file leaves it out.
How to
- Add the new version replaces a custom profile's 8,760s; earlier versions stay.
- Retire takes the profile out of use for new measures; runs and claims keep the version they used.
A tour of the page
On the page, the (?) beside the heading opens this help, and Take a tour of this page shows these steps one at a time beside the part of the page each describes. Some steps are only for parts that some people see, or that only some pages of this kind have.
-
The profile
Its kind, owner, end use, current version and status.
-
By climate zone
Each zone's 8,760, summarized.
-
Versions
Every version, newest first, with where it came from.
-
Names of this profile
When another profile's 8,760s are identical to this one's, the names are listed here. The library stores the 8,760s once and every name prices on them; each name keeps its own versions.
-
Replace with a new version
For the profile's owner. Upload the file; it is checked before the new version is kept.
-
Retire it
For the profile's owner, with a reason.
