Help: Write release notes
Release notes and limits
For CPUC system administrators. Draft a release note, list its changes and publish it before they take effect: at least the usual notice period before, or with a reason for the shorter notice. Publishing tells everyone subscribed and puts the note on every page until it takes effect.
The check at the top says whether the release this site runs has its note, whether every limit change in effect is what the site applies, and whether the user guides were revised for the releases that changed their part of CEDARS.
How to
- Fill in New release note and Save the draft, then open the draft to add its changes and publish it.
- A limit change names its limit; change that limit's setting on the day the note says.
A tour of the page
On the page, the (?) beside the heading opens this help, and Take a tour of this page shows these steps one at a time beside the part of the page each describes. Some steps are only for parts that some people see, or that only some pages of this kind have.
-
The check
What does not match yet between the release notes, the limits the site applies and the guides.
-
Drafts
Notes not yet published. Only CPUC system administrators see them.
-
A new note
Its title, the release it ships in (blank when no new code is needed), a summary and the day it takes effect.
-
Limits and settings
Each limit, its value now and the environment setting that sets it.

Help on every page
The question mark beside a page's heading opens this page's guide and its tour. All of Help, with the user guides and how to get support, is in the header.
