Help: A held publication
Publication holds
One confirmed filing whose records the scan for personal information held back from the public dashboards and downloads, what the scan found, and what happens next. Examples are masked; the values themselves are never shown or kept outside the filing.
How to
- If the values are personal information, the filing's organization corrects the filing (un-confirm it before the due date, or request a correction after it). The corrected version is scanned in its own right.
- If they are not, a CPUC system administrator gives the reason and releases it, or changes the scan settings and scans it again.
A tour of the page
On the page, the (?) beside the heading opens this help, and Take a tour of this page shows these steps one at a time beside the part of the page each describes. Some steps are only for parts that some people see, or that only some pages of this kind have.
-
What the scan found
Each column with values that look like personal information, with how many records, masked examples and the first records.
-
What happens next
How a held filing is corrected or released.
-
Release it
For CPUC system administrators. Give the reason the values are not personal information; the release is audited.
