Publication holds
Before a confirmed filing's records reach the public dashboards and record downloads, every text column is scanned for what may be personal information. A filing with a hit is held, and the public data keep what was published before.
The filing's organization sees its own holds here; CPUC system administrators see every hold and release them.
How to
- Open a held filing to see which columns matched, how many records, masked examples and the first record IDs.
- System administrators change what the scan looks for on the Publication scan settings page.

Filings held by the scan and not yet released or replaced by a corrected version.

Released or replaced
Holds an administrator released, with the reason, and holds a newer version replaced.
