Budgets and fund shifts
Budget filings follow the four-year program cycle, a business plan application, then true-up (TUAL) and mid-cycle (MCAL) advice letters. This page lists each cycle's filings with their due dates, where your PA's filings stand when you act for one, and the budgets that stand for each PA.
The newest cycle is open; earlier cycles are folded under their headings. Open a filing to upload, check, price and confirm it.
How to
- Compare two versions shows any two budget versions you can read side by side, by program.
- Fund shifts move budget between programs within a cycle; the standing filing plus the shifts in effect is the operating budget.

Compare, fund shifts and the change log
Compare any two versions, open the fund shifts, or see every correction to a published filing in the change log. CPUC administrators set up new filings here too.

Each filing of the cycle with its due date and, when you act for a PA, its status. Select a filing to open it (CPUC staff then choose the PA).
