Help: The operating budget

Budgets and fund shifts

A PA's operating budget for a cycle, the approved budget (its standing filing) plus the fund shifts in effect, by year and by program. Shifts that took effect before the approved budget was confirmed are not added; a later filing is taken to carry them.

The CPUC has no operating budget of its own. CPUC staff first choose the PA whose operating budget to see.

1. Choose a PA

   The PAs with a budget filing or a fund shift in the cycle. Choose one to see its operating budget.

2. PA and year

   Choose the PA (CPUC users) and a program year to see that year by program.

3. By year

   The approved budget, the shifts and the operating budget for each program year.

4. By program

   The same by program, with a CSV of the view.

5. Shifts in effect

   The shifts added, each linked to its page.
