Help: A claims confirmation

Claims

One PA's confirmation of one quarter (or the annual claims). Upload the records that are new or changed since the last confirmation; CEDARS compiles them over the earlier confirmed quarters, where a record with the same key replaces the one confirmed earlier.

Every record is checked against the claims rules, and deemed measures against eTRM. Fix what is rejected and upload again, then Price the year to date, review it, and Confirm and publish. Quarters are confirmed in order. After the due date a correction is a new version, published with a change letter.

Contacts and sites never go in the claims file. They are uploaded separately under Personal information, need the PII permission a data steward approves, and are kept apart in the PII vault.

User guide: Claims

A tour of the page

On the page, the (?) beside the heading opens this help, and Take a tour of this page shows these steps one at a time beside the part of the page each describes. Some steps are only for parts that some people see, or that only some pages of this kind have.

  1. Earlier confirmations

This year's confirmed quarters, which this upload is compiled over.

  2. The version in progress

Its status, the records by table, the findings by rule (rejects first), and the next step, which is check, price, confirm, un-confirm or ask to reopen.

  3. Year-to-date results

The priced totals that confirming signs off on.

  4. Upload

The new and changed records as one file, or several chosen together. It replaces this version's earlier upload.

  5. Personal information

The contacts and sites behind the claims, uploaded and read separately, with a reason recorded each time.

  6. Versions

Every version of this confirmation, newest first.

  7. Help on every page

The question mark beside a page's heading opens this page's guide and its tour. All of Help, with the user guides and how to get support, is in the header.
